Being situated in a multicultural and vibrant neighbourhood of St Albans is reflected in our church community. Although our worship is structured on the basis of traditional Methodist worship, each Sunday is different. We cherish our past but express our faith in contemporary ways too.

Sunday services
Our main service each Sunday is held at 10.30am. The exception to this is on the first Sunday of the month when there are three different services on offer. The monthly pattern of services is as follows:
1st SUNDAY 9am Holy Communion
10am Create & Celebrate - An intergenerational session beginning with refreshments and activities followed by a short informal service at 11am.
7pm Praise & Worship involving informal singing, prayer & fellowship
2nd SUNDAY Morning Worship and Sunday Club (5yrs-18yrs)
3rd SUNDAY All Age Communion and Sunday Club (5yrs-18yrs)
4th SUNDAY All Age Worship
5th SUNDAY Morning Worship (pattern changes)

Create & Celebrate!
First Sunday of the month at 10am
A chance to share fellowship through crafts, quizzes & cups of coffee. At 11 o'clock, we join together in a short informal service.

Praise & Worship
First Sunday of the month at 7pm
A relaxed and informal service with no sermon but plenty of hymns, songs and prayers.

Wednesday Worship
First Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm
An afternoon service involving favourite hymns, inspiring stories, trying out crafts and enjoying tea and cake. The format is dementia-friendly and aims to be as accessible as possible. All are welcome to attend.
Music recordings
Our music groups regularly record songs and make them available online for people to use in their services. The music comes with lyrics and can be streamed during services. To access these click on the button below:
